Ingredients

2 tbsp gulaman powder
½ cup water
½ cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup store-bought ube halaya for topping

Steps

  • STEP 1

    Combine gulaman powder, water, evaporated milk, NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream, sugar and vanilla extract in a pot. Mix well and bring to a gentle simmer. (10 mins)

  • STEP 2

    Pour cream mixture in a large lyanera and set aisde to cool. Refrigerte overnight. (5 mins)

  • STEP 3

    Unmold on a serving plate. Grate ube halaya on top and serve immediately. (5 mins)

I'm confused with Step #3 - grating the ube halaya. Does the recipe really refer to ube halaya or just the ube? I don't think that the halaya can be grated since it's soft, specially when it's bought from the supermarket.
