Ingredients

500g bacon, chopped
1 cup chopped onions
½ cup chopped celery
6 cups NESTLÉ® FRESH MILK
½ tsp Turmeric or Luyang Dilaw
1-2 tbsp corn meal
1 can creamed corn
2 cans whole kernel corn
4 sachets 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 tsp pepper
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Steps

VIEW WITHOUT STEPS

  • STEP 1

    Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside and reserve bacon fat.

  • STEP 2

    In a stockpot, sauté; onions and celery in hot bacon fat until soft and fragrant. Pour in milk and NESTLE ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Add turmeric and corn meal and stir until slightly thickened.

  • STEP 3

    Add creamed corn and corn kernels. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and pepper and cook for 5 minutes more.

  • STEP 4

    Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Top with fried bacon just before serving.
